Located just 5 minutes away from the enchanting Valençay Castle, and a convenient 30-minute drive from the popular Zoo Park Beauval, the Sermoise cottage offers a perfect base for exploring the magnificent Loire castles, the charming Sologne region, and the breathtaking Regional Natural Park of Brenne. Nestled in the heart of France, this cozy cottage is surrounded by tranquil greenery, ensuring a peaceful and relaxing stay.The ground floor of the cottage features an inviting entrance, a fully equipped kitchen with modern amenities such as a dishwasher, fridge freezer, and microwave oven. Additionally, there is a toaster, coffee maker, kettle, and more. The comfortable living room is equipped with a TV, DVD player, and a fireplace with an insert, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The dining room provides a perfect space for enjoying meals together. The ground floor also includes a convenient toilet, a bathroom with a washing machine, and a bedroom with a comfortable double bed.
Upstairs, the cottage offers three bedrooms with luxurious double beds, providing a restful night's sleep. There is also a bedroom with four single beds and a TV, catering to larger groups. The first floor also features a toilet and a shower room with a tumble dryer.
Outside the cottage, you will find a spacious plot of 3500 m². Take advantage of the covered terrace and garden furniture to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The brick barbecue is perfect for outdoor cooking, and there are five sun loungers for soaking up the sun. The children will love the swing set, slide, and basketball hoop, while the ping-pong table and petanque ground offer entertainment for all ages.
For families with babies, the cottage provides various accessories such as beds, a bath, high chairs, cutlery, and a changing mat, ensuring a comfortable stay for the little ones.
The rates for the cottage are as follows: a weekend stay of 2 nights is priced at 360 , while a weekend stay of 3 nights is priced at 380 . A mid-week stay of 4 nights is priced at 400 , and a week-long stay ranges from 450 to 700 depending on the time of year. Free WiFi is available, and heating oil is provided at an additional cost of 10 per day. Wood for the fireplace is provided free of charge. Optional services include the rental of sheets, towels, and a cleaning fee.
Additionally, there is an option to rent a reception room next to the cottage, which can accommodate approximately 50 people and is equipped for catering purposes.

un week end formidable
Nous étions dix, dans ce gîte très spacieux où l'intimité de chacun est respectée. Un logement très beau, dans le style des maisons berrichonnes en bordure des pays de Loire, très lumineux et à l'écart de toute nuisance sonore. Propreté et accueil impeccables. Les visites alentour sont très intéressantes : Château de Valençay, majestueux ( à voir aussi en Août entièrement éclairé à la bougie, c'est magique!! ). Château du moulin à Lassay sur Croisne, tout mignon et très bien "vendu" par le guide. Château de Bouges, meublé de pièces rares, dont les écuries et les jardins sont magnifiques. Le zoo de Beauval, extraordinaire et dont le spectacle des oiseaux m'a fait pleurer d'émotion. Les musées d'automobiles et bien d'autres choses encore.!!!!
Un petit resto bien sympa et très raffiné vient de s'ouvrir à Valençay : L'AMBASSADEUR tenu par 2 jeunes qui ont du talent.
Beaucoup de raisons de passer dans ce gîte tous les moments de convivialité et de repos, entre les visites. Merci à Annick, qui s'en occupe avec beaucoup de sérieux.
