Description for B&B:

Experience a delightful retreat at the enchanting "Mas des Sources," nestled in the charming hamlet of Le Fayet in the picturesque village of Sanilhac. Situated halfway between Largentière and Joyeuse, and not far from the breathtaking Ardèche and Beaume gorges, this idyllic location offers a serene and natural setting.

Perched above the Blajoux valley, this hamlet is surrounded by a pristine pine forest, perfect for leisurely strolls amidst unspoiled surroundings. Beginning July 1st, the proprietors warmly welcome guests to two inviting bed and breakfast rooms. The first is a spacious suite, exuding tranquility with its tasteful grey and off-white tones, expertly complementing the natural materials and antique furnishings, many of which were discovered at the "Brocante," like the charming antique chest of drawers from Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.

The owner, who personally constructed the house, has diligently preserved its authentic character, evident in the exquisite choice of materials, from the traditional roof tiles to the sandstone walls and floors. Flooded with natural light courtesy of sliding glass doors, the house emanates a warm and inviting ambiance.

Located on the ground floor, the rooms boast airy spaces accentuated by whitewashed walls and elegant antique furniture adorned with white and grey finishes. The windows are tastefully adorned with linen curtains crafted from fabrics sourced from the renowned Brocante in Beaucaire, Provence.

The expansive suite spans an impressive 50 square meters and boasts its own private entrance. Characterized by a natural stone floor and wooden beam ceilings, this room is bathed in sunlight streaming through the generous glass doors, which open onto an indoor patio and a covered terrace. Offering a queen-size bed, a well-appointed bathroom, and a cozy stove, this suite exudes countryside charm, accentuated by its exquisite antique pieces.

The standard room, covering 30 square meters, opens onto an indoor patio through two large glass doors, showcasing a harmonious blend of white, off-white, and grey hues. This room is furnished with a comfortable double bed and features a stylish bathroom with a refreshing shower. Guests can bask in the southern sun on the terrace, complete with a delightful natural spring water pool. For those seeking relaxation, the garden provides a shaded oasis under the fragrant linden tree, while the swimming pool and sauna offer additional opportunities for unwinding and rejuvenation.

Appréciations pour Le Domaine du Fayet, Sanilhac:

Weekend entre amis Maison Académie
Review by: Axelle, Juin 14 2016 11:31AM
