Welcome to Le Clos Monthébert, a charming cottage nestled in the tranquil countryside. Formerly an old farmhouse, this converted country house offers a serene retreat surrounded by one hectare of lush, fenced parkland. The cottage, located in a separate annex to the owners' house, is a true green oasis.On the ground floor, you will find a bright and spacious entrance hall, an authentic fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, and a large living-dining room adorned with a delightful flea market ambiance, combining rustic and modern charm. The ground floor also features the Plantagenet room, offering a comfortable 160-sized bed and a bathroom with an Italian shower, basin, and separate toilet. This spacious room, decorated in soothing shades of gray and mauve, overlooks the beautiful garden. Additionally, there is the Bocage room on the ground floor, boasting a cozy atmosphere with its rough stone walls and tiled floor. This room offers a double bed and a bathroom with an Italian shower, basin, and separate toilet.
Upstairs, the 24 Hours Room awaits, accessible via a spiral staircase. This room features two 90 cm beds that can be joined to form a 180-sized bed, as well as an additional 90 cm bed. The room includes a bath, basin, walk-in shower, and separate Italian-style toilet. This spacious attic room is perfect for a small family or three individuals seeking separate sleeping arrangements. Linen and WIFI are provided in each room, which also come equipped with flat-screen TVs, fans, and hairdryers.
During pleasant weather, guests can enjoy the enclosed garden and furnished terrace for alfresco dining. The wooded park is also open for leisurely walks, accompanied by the owners' friendly Golden Retriever, who is accustomed to children. Additionally, guests have access to a stunning 10 m by 5 m secure swimming pool, complete with a solarium terrace furnished with deckchairs and a pergola. The swimming pool, shared with the owners, is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and alcohol consumption is prohibited in this area.
