Description for Gite

At Domaine de la Porte, you will find three charming gites that have been beautifully renovated in a rustic style, yet equipped with all the modern comforts. Each gite boasts its own private terrace, allowing you to unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Two of the gites feature two cozy bedrooms, while the third gite offers three bedrooms, providing ample space for relaxation. The beds in every gite are exceptionally comfortable and generously sized, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Furthermore, if you prefer not to cook, you have the option to indulge in our delightful evening meals, which can be reserved in advance (table d'hotes). Additionally, our expansive swimming pool invites you to take a refreshing dip, and we also offer a range of rejuvenating massages, including classic, essential oils, and hot stones.

Directions

To get to Domaine de la Porte from the A20 motorway, take exit 20 for Saint Benoit du Sault. Continue towards Chaillac and then Tilly. After traveling 3 km from Tilly, you'll reach a roundabout with iron animals on it. Take a right at this roundabout, following the sign for Les Herolles. Continue for 2.4 km and you'll find Domaine de la Porte on your right.

If you're coming from Poitiers, head towards Chauvigny, Montmorillon, and La Trimouille. In La Trimouille, look for a sign for Les Herolles across from the pharmacy. Follow the directions on the sign until you reach Les Herolles. Once in Les Herolles, take a right and cross the village road towards Tilly. After 200 m, you'll spot a green sign for Gite de France and La Porte. Congratulations, you've arrived!
