The fully renovated former girls’ school, dating back to 1872, offers three spacious and beautiful large rooms, as well as a luxurious suite. The guest rooms are located on the first floor and can be accessed via majestic stairs. Each room has its own private shower and toilet facilities.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast in our dining room, where fresh bread from a French baker and eggs from our own chickens await. For dinner, we offer a home-cooked meal prepared with fresh ingredients harvested on that day, paired with a suitable wine, in our Tables d’Hôtes. This delightful dining experience is available for a fixed price. In good weather, dinner will be served in the courtyard, allowing you to enjoy your meal while overlooking the garden and pool. Otherwise, dinner will be served in our dining room.

During the cooler evenings, our comfortable lounge provides the perfect retreat. Feel free to browse our collection of Dutch books in the library or make use of the internet facilities.

Located in the south-west of France, in the Aquitaine region and the Lot-et-Garonne department, just south of the Dordogne, you will find the town of Bourgougnague. La Vieille Ecole is situated on the outskirts of this town, approximately four kilometers from Eymet.

If you are traveling by airplane, Bourgougnague is conveniently located a 30-minute drive from Bergerac airport and 90 minutes from Bordeaux airport. Both airports offer car rental services, or alternatively, arrangements can be made for pick-up or drop-off at the airport.

For those traveling by train, there is a fast and direct connection available. The TGV, France's high-speed train, travels from Paris to Agen.
