Maison Du Montitier, located in Normandie, is a charming holiday Gite owned and operated by James and Jacqueline Cunningham, originally from Cumbria in the northwest of England.This newly renovated barn conversion offers a delightful experience, featuring two spacious bedrooms ideal for families, each equipped with en suite facilities, satellite TV, DVD player, CD player, radio, and Wi-Fi. Guests can relish in breathtaking panoramic views of Le Mont St Michel. Additionally, bed and breakfast stays are available.
With the capacity to comfortably accommodate eight people, the Gite provides a travel cot and highchair upon request. Conveniently situated just four minutes from the historic Le Mont St Michel, it is also located on the borders of the picturesque Bretagne.
The surrounding towns of Avranche and Pontorson offer a plethora of excellent shops and restaurants for guests to explore. Moreover, Cancale, only a 40-minute drive away, boasts stunning beaches renowned for their delectable mussels and oysters.
For outdoor dining, the Gite offers a delightful patio area, while a large secure garden provides a safe space for children to play. Additionally, Maison Du Montitier is licensed to serve evening meals and drinks.
In addition to the main house, there is also a brand new one-bedroom Gite available in the charming village of Servon, situated 7km from Le Mont St Michel and 3km from the main property. This Gite features an open plan living and dining area on the ground floor, perfect for accommodating two to five people.
