Birch Cottage is conveniently located just a 30-minute drive from Inverness and its airport. The surrounding area boasts stunning scenery, with breathtaking destinations such as Applecross, Gairloch, the Black Isle, Glen Affric, and Ullapool just a short distance away. For those interested in exploring further, the famous Kyle Line train journey starts in Inverness and stops at Garve, continuing on to the Kyle of Lochalsh. Additionally, the picturesque Isle of Skye is easily accessible within an hour by car.

Adventure enthusiasts will be delighted to find numerous Munros (mountains) right on our doorstep, providing ample opportunities for energetic guests to indulge in outdoor activities. History and culture enthusiasts will not be disappointed either, with distilleries, castles, and museums in the vicinity to explore.
