The room has a grand central 160 bed, a bright bathroom with a bath, and a toilet.
- The "ch swallows" room: A very spacious room with a cottage atmosphere and warm colors. The pine floor is treated with organic oils, and it offers a double bed with the option to add 1-2 extra beds (additional cost applies). The bathroom has a large corner bath and a toilet.
- The "ch serve" room: A room with a light pastel color scheme and beautiful views of the mountains. The chestnut flooring is treated with hard oils, and it has an "old" 140 bed. The bright bathroom includes a shower and a toilet.
- The "ch Park" room: A spacious and uncluttered room with a view of the park and forest. It has a Scots pine floor treated with harsh oils and a double bed with the option to add 1 or 2 extra beds (additional cost applies). The large bathroom has a shower, a bath, and a separate toilet.

Outside, we have a stone terrace overlooking the park and chapel, a large park with various trees and stone benches, and a garden with vegetables and fruits for guests to enjoy.
For those interested in exploring the surroundings, there are beautiful walking and biking trails nearby. Additionally, we are located near cultural heritage sites such as Thiers (the cutlery capital of the world), VICHY (known for its natural springs), Clermont-Ferrand (the regional capital with volcanic hills), and AMBERT (home to a paper mill).

Description for Gite

The park lodging is situated in a serene and well-preserved natural environment. It is located 14 km from the A89, a 15-minute drive from Thiers (renowned as the world capital of cutlery), 30 minutes from Vichy (famous for its spas), and 35 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand (the capital of Auvergne). This is an ideal destination for relaxation, rejuvenation, leisurely walks, and thrilling mountain bike excursions (with tracks passing by the nearby fountain). Additionally, there are numerous cultural and tourist attractions in close proximity.

Our cottage has been awarded the prestigious 3-ear rating by Gîtes de France, ensuring that it is equipped with all modern comforts. It features a spacious room with a comfortable king-size bed (160) and another room with a queen-size bed (140) and two single beds (90). The bathroom includes a shower, and there are toilets on both the ground floor and upstairs, the latter also equipped with a washbasin. The large kitchen opens onto a stone terrace that overlooks the park and a twelfth-century chapel. The ample living room is furnished with a TV, DVD player, and a charming wood-burning stove with a visible flame. Natural and eco-friendly materials such as wood, stone, antique floor tiles, and hemp and lime wall coatings in Sienna and Havana colors have been used throughout. The cottage is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, hob and oven, iron and ironing board, barbecue, garden furniture, and more.

Directions

If you are coming from Clermont Ferrand by the A89, take EXIT 29 towards Thiers. After the toll, go straight at the roundabout and continue in the direction of VICHY for approximately 7 kilometers. Then, turn right onto the D85 towards SAINT VICTOR MONTVIANEIX. Drive for about 500 meters and at the crossroads, turn right onto the D64 towards SAINT VICTOR MONTVIANEIX. Along the way, you will pass through the hamlets of Marette and Guesles. After Guesles, which is about 1.7 kilometers away, turn left onto the paved road indicated by the sign for Domaine de Montvianeix.

If you are coming from Lyon by the A89, take the exit for ST REMY DUROLLE (EXIT 30). After the toll, take the first right towards PALLADUC. In Palladuc, turn left onto the D201 and continue for approximately 3.3 kilometers towards SAINT VICTOR MONTVIANEIX. Then, take a right onto the D64 and follow the signs for ST VICTOR MONTVIANEIX. Be careful after 1.2 kilometers, as you must stay on the D64 and not go towards ST VICTOR MONTVIANEIX. Along the way, you will pass through the small hamlet of Fagot. After another 1.2 kilometers, turn right onto the paved road indicated by the sign for Domaine de Montvianeix.

If you are coming from Vichy by the D906, follow the directions towards Thiers. Pass through PUY GUILLAUME and PASLIERES, making sure to stay on the D906. After approximately 2 kilometers, turn left onto the D64 towards ST REMY DUROLLE and ST VICTOR MONTVIANEIX. Continue for about 8 kilometers, passing through the hamlets of Marette and Guesles. After Guesles, which is about 1.7 kilometers away, turn left onto the small paved road indicated by the sign for Domaine de Montvianeix.
