Originally built in the late 19th Century by a wealthy merchant, Halepa Hotel showcases the elegance of the New Classical style period. Serving as the British Embassy during the late 1800s and early 1900s, this historic establishment played a pivotal role in Cretan history, witnessing the signing of numerous important treaties. In 1990, the hotel underwent a meticulous renovation, adding a new wing with 42 rooms while preserving the grandeur of the original structure. Today, Halepa Hotel offers 3 Suites and 46 rooms, divided between the Traditional Wing and the New Wing. The Traditional Wing features a VIP Suite and 5 Superior rooms, accessible via an exquisite marble staircase. The New Wing offers 2 Small Suites and 41 Standard rooms, including 3 adjoining Family rooms. Each room is equipped with modern amenities such as a private bathroom, hair dryer, shaver outlet, phone, free internet access, music, satellite TV, mini-bar, and central heating/air conditioning.
