Welcome to "Apart’Observatoire Saint Jean", a charming and character-filled gite that overlooks the historic heart of Lyon. Situated on the fourth floor of an 18th century building, this guest apartment offers stunning panoramic views of the Saint Jean Cathedral, the Basilica of Fourvière, and the beautiful rooftops of the Renaissance district.Recently restored in a rustic and traditional style, this apartment is now available as a short-term rental for both business and tourism purposes. It is tastefully furnished with antique pieces and provides all the necessary comforts, including internet access.
The apartment is divided into two levels and a mezzanine. The first floor features a well-equipped kitchen where guests can prepare their meals. Being in a touristic area, there are also plenty of typical "bouchon lyonnais" restaurants nearby for dining out.
On the mezzanine level, you will find a comfortable sofa bed, a coffee table, a cupboard, a safe, and internet access. On the second level, there is a cozy bed (140 X 190), a chest of drawers, a TV, and a private bathroom.
Cleaning services are provided once a week, and fresh sheets and towels are included. Please note that pets are not allowed for the comfort of all guests.

Directions from the A6 motorway from Paris:
1. Take the direction towards Lyon Centre.
2. Drive through the tunnel and take the first exit for Fourvière.
3. After exiting the tunnel, continue towards Old Lyon Lyon Saint Jean.
4. Drive along the banks of the Saône until you reach the bridge Bonaparte, at the height of the cathedral.
5. Enter the parking lot at Saint Georges or Saint John.
Directions from the A7 motorway from Marseille:
1. Upon arrival in Lyon, take the exit for La Mulatière, Lyon banks of the Saône.
2. Drive up the Saone on the left bank.
3. Continue along the banks of the Saône until you reach the bridge Bonaparte, at the height of the cathedral.
4. Enter the parking lot at Saint Georges or Saint John.
Directions from Highway A43 from Grenoble and Chambéry:
1. Set your course towards the Basilica of Fourvière, which can be seen in the distance on the hill.
2. Always keep this direction.
3. Take the direction towards Lyon, then Lyon Mermoz.
4. Continue towards Lyon Centre Peninsula by the rue de l'Université.
5. Cross the Rhone on the Bridge University and turn right towards Bellecour.
6. At the height of the Guillotière bridge, turn left towards Place Bellecour on the Rue de la Barre.
7. Continue straight and cross the Saone on the Pont Bonaparte.
8. Enter the parking lot at Saint John or Saint Georges.
